Our daughters need to have more WoC to look up to, they need examples of women with their natural hair, so they can be proud of their own hair; they need examples of women with dark skin, so they can be proud of their own dark skin. They need women who look like them to be admired, not reviled, so they can understand what it is to be admired, and not reviled, and what it is to admire the women around them, and what it is to not revile those women, and thereby themselves. How can anyone look at this little girl and not understand that? All I see is a young child dressing way too old for her. Seriously her make-up and dress are too old for her to wear.

Two days ago he returned from the hospital after being hacked in the face by a machete defending an orphanage of 35 children by himself.  This man dedicates his life to take care of 35 orphaned children from the ages of 2-17 in Kenya. A couple of days ago a group of thugs raided the orphanage to pilage anything they could find, after beating and slashing Omari’s face for defending the children and himself from a previous attempted attack. The only thing the children are living off of right now are things growing from their small garden, and eggs from a couple of chickens in their coup. Pro-life bullshit: Abortion is never the way!

Abortion is the way when you get pregnant when you’re not ready for it or just don’t want to be.A pregnancy isn’t a walk in the park. It is a woman’s right to have access to it, because it’s her own body, her future and her life. Just because nature made women the ones that has to carry a child (why can’t we be seahorses ?), does not mean she should.Women or other womb-carriers are not baby-machines.We have the right to explore our sexuality just like men.And we should not be forced to endure a pregnancy as if it was a punishment for exploring those area’s.If anti-choice find life so sacred, why can’t you find the life that’s already here sacred enough to respect her choice?Are you going to carry the child for her then?Pay the bills? Give up everything you want to do? It’s not selfish to have an abortion, it’s selfish when people expect a woman to just give up everything for something she does not want. Do you even look at a child’s perspective of not feeling wanted?no. you only care about a fetus. Do you care about baby’s?
